This leading Sports Venue is seeking a highly experienced Director of Catering to manage and drive the catering and hospitality services for all events.
The venue is a leading sports venue that also offers conference and event facilities in addition to sports events.
As the Director of Catering you will have manage all staff and be responsible for overseeing all hiring and disciplinary issues.
You will oversee all aspects of the business including sales and marketing as well as operational delivery in conference and banqueting and public catering services. You will report directly to the Managing Director.
In addition to this the Director of Catering will oversee a multi million pound annual budget and be tasked with cost savings and contract negotiations with suppliers.
You will also oversee client meetings and quotations as required.
To apply for the position of Catering Director you will be experienced in the planning and delivery of the various catering and hospitality facilities. You will have sound operational skills in conference and banqueting, retail catering and in managing a sales and marketing team.
You will set high standards of performance, and be able to drive the business to the next level as the benchmark for excellence in the provision of the catering service
In addition, you will be an communicator with a passion for driving the business forward.
